Now in its third year, The Decorative Home & Salvage Show at Surrey’s Loseley Park has firmly taken root. Like our other shows, held at Cheshire Showground and Ripley Castle, its reputation now goes before it and it is attracting not only excellent buyers but the best exhibitors we could wish for.
Having drawn the interest of style writers and bloggers, such as Jane Day, and shopping reviewers and interiors stylists, like the wonderful Ali Heath, who gave the show a rave review in her recent column 'Antiques Scene' for Surrey Life magazine. Over the past year, word has spread about the quality of the show and we are delighted to say that we are fully booked with a rosta of exhibitors showing exquisite pieces for the home, garden or renovation project.
You'll be spoilt for choice for decorative and industrial lighting, faded French doors, shutters and much, much more.
You'll find soft-furnishings, new and old, up-cycled chairs, one-off pieces in need of a bit of tender love and care and some wonderful textiles to use in your projects.
For the mirror collectors amongst you, well, you will be totally spoilt for choice and will without a doubt be able to bag a bargain.
Quirky decorative pieces adorn most stands and you'll be amazed by what you suddenly need in you life. Horse anyone?
Kitchenware and domestic fittings are always in adundance, some things will require a bit of spit and polish, whilst others will be perfect with their imperfections. Pick-up enamelware, galvanised pots, kitchen linens, china, table, chairs, cupboards, shelving, storage jars, there really is everything, plus the kitchen sink.
The tents and bunting are going up as we write and excitement is mounting, both here at ASFairs HQ and around the country as stallholders pack up their vans in readiness for the opening on Friday. Don't forget that we have free parking, on-site catering and a licensed bar, so come and make a day of it.
