Our first in a run of six summer Decorative Home & Salvage Shows opens this week – 10th – 12th May – at the Ripley Castle Estate and we’re delighted to be able to share the full exhibitor list with you (scroll to the bottom for list). Held at Ripley Castle, a stunning 14th Century country house and grounds, amidst rolling North Yorkshire countryside just a stones-throw away from Harrogate and Knaresborough, the surroundings provide the perfect backdrop to an event with a focus on all things old and beautiful. As in previous years, the show will offer up a fantastic roster of exhibitors selling salvage and industrial items, period home fixtures and fittings, decorative and architectural antiques, garden furniture and statuary, restored and up-cycled furniture and beautiful one-off homewares.
The event offers relaxed shopping from a range of expert dealers and is a wonderful day-out for all – trade, home-buyers and families all welcome – with on-site catering, a licensed bar and free parking.
To enhance the visitor experience, we are running a programme of inspirational, interactive and hands-on workshops curated and hosted by writer and interior stylist Alice Roberton. Sessions will be held on Saturday 11th May in small groups of no more than 20, they will last approximately an hour each and should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment. Each ticket gives you free entry to the event (value £7.50) and a glass of complimentary fizz (or soft drink).
Choose from the following workshops:
Good Image Making & Introduction to Social Media, 11am – 12noon, £20pp: Workshop led by blogger, stylist, product photographer and content creator Jane Day from Tea with Ruby. For more details and booking.
Tall Stories of Sourcing for Beautiful Interiors, 12.30pm – 1.30pm, £15pp: Talk and Q&A led by passionate antiques and interiors trader Matt Dixon from TallBoy Interiors. For more details and booking.
