As many of you may know, last year saw us launching ‘The Workshop’ – a space for learning, inspiration and hands-on creativity at the summer season of Decorative Home & Salvage Shows. Curated and hosted by interior stylist and writer Alice Roberton, whose regular features in national magazines Period Living and Reclaim celebrate all things antique, salvage, vintage and home, we ran 18 lively sessions led by an incredible array of creatives who covered floristry, watercolour painting, sourcing for the salvaged home, styling with preloved objects, telling stories through interiors, and much more. Key was to offer something alongside the unique shopping experience we already provide - something that would enrich how people view buying and integrating beautiful old items into the home as well as giving them new skills and gorgeous hand-crafted things to take away with them. We achieved our goal!

We are delighted to announce that we’ll be doing it all over again this summer across all six shows, which run from May to September at Ripley Castle (Yorkshire), Cheshire Showground, Beale Park (Berkshire) and Loseley Park (Surrey). We are now working on the programme and are pleased to say that many of the wonderful experts who held sessions last year will be joining us again, however we would love to hear from anyone interested in running an hour-long workshop suitable for our antique, salvage, vintage loving visitors - please DM Alice on Instagram @alice.roberton or email email@example.com to have a chat.
Lucy Nugent of Lucy's Vintage Lifestyle - Spring Table Centrepiece
Clare Watson of Turmeric House - Storytelling, Sourcing and Styling
Over the course of the next two months we will roll out details of all workshops, so do keep an out eye here on the ASfairs blog, on our Instagram feed and over on Facebook. Alternatively, you can subscribe to our newsletter here at asfairs.com (on the right-hand side of the home page) where we share all our news, event dates and details and booking info.
