Arthur Swallow Fairs is a second-generation family business with its roots in the 1990s antiques trade. Founded by Peter Burgoin—an antique jewellery dealer from Sheffield—our journey began in a disused RAF hangar with just 50 dealers. Today, we host some of the UK’s largest and best-loved vintage, salvage, and decorative antiques shopping experiences.

Now led by Peter’s sons, Marc and Richard, alongside Richard’s wife Anna, we continue to create vibrant events across the country—from fast-paced one-day markets to relaxed three-day boutique shows. With a focus on sustainability, provenance, and affordability, our events offer thousands of treasures for everyone.
We welcome all—from interior designers and dealers to collectors and families—and we take pride in fostering a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. With the third generation already involved, our passion for beautiful old things is here to stay. You can read more about us here.
