After a decade with Arthur Swallow Fairs, Alice Roberton, Head of PR, Social Media & Content, is leaving her role. From growing our online and on-the-ground community to guiding us through lockdown with those memorable, history-making online fairs, her work has been both committed and passionate. We will all be sad to see her go. However, new projects beckon, and she feels it’s time to give someone else the opportunity to take the reins of what she describes as ‘one of the best jobs in the antiques trade.’
A quick word from Alice: ‘It’s been the hardest decision to leave the warmth of the @asfairs family — crew, traders and visitors — but there are personal projects I want to pursue. I will still be working around antiques and interiors, so I won’t be going far!’
After a rigorous recruitment process, she is handing over to the very knowledgeable, equally passionate, and capable Daisy Winston-Scott, small business PR, social media, and content consultant and owner of Badger & Scott.

Both will be attending the upcoming Ripley Castle Decorative Home & Salvage Show — 19–21 September — for the big handover. Please do say hello to Daisy and goodbye to Alice (although she assures us she will be visiting as often as possible!).
